The Story of Wynn, now renamed as Shadows of Fairytales is over. For the moment. The renaming is in part because I realised that the book I was writing was only going to be the first act (probably the first half) of something larger, and also because when I first started it didn't deserve more than a working title: somewhere around 100,000 words it hit me that it was worth thinking harder about.

Some of you may have noticed that over the last few weeks I kept closely to an unannounced posting schedule, which was something I really wanted to do (the facility to post to the future is pretty much essential, I've decided), although I did miss this week. I blame the platinum medal. I'm likely to take a week or two off (or perhaps wait until I start the new job, then take a week or two off) but eventually I intend to come back using the same method to finish the Third Wheel, which to be honest has more let-down readers than Wynn ever did.
