Gary Gygax died. He hadn't been well. Some people I know are planning a minute's silence at their gaming sessions for the 'father of roleplaying games'. I didn't really know how to explain why I didn't share that sentiment until I found the latest post from Scott R. Kurtz of PvPonline.

My sympathy is with his family for their personal loss. If you don't know who Gary Gygax was, don't worry about it.
