Feeding time

After a post of Gordon's got me thinking, I've made a new RSS feed showing only the pre-fold teaser sections of the posts. The full feed is still there, but people who don't often read the full posts or who view the feed inline with others can now have the cut-down version. Also available is the comments feed.

This makes me think (and mine and Gordon's and everyone else's multiple feeds do too) that fedreaders really should have some sort of option to have a hierarchical listing for each feed, so that I can expand the feeds coming from a particular blog or site, without resorting to some archaic "folder" or "label/tag" structure.

Any thoughts?

Are folders really so archaic? They're a generic, hierarchical storage system that is almost entirely unconstrained: you just can't be bothered to make them.
And I thought the daft label/tag thing was a cornerstone of Web 2.0? Is that archaic already?
