This is the longest meme ever, but I like memes and I have no qualms about filling a post with a really big and pointless one (especially when I have nothing else to say). Blame Annie (and go to read hers). I'm filling it out as I get the chance, so the really time-dependent ones weren't all in the same slice of time, necessarily.

1. Your first grade teacher: I can just about picture her, but I can't remember her name.
2. Last word you said: Useful. Frighteningly enough, it was the answer when I first read the question, I've spoken since and it's still the answer.
3. Last song you sang: The Killers - Somebody Told Me.
4. Last person you hugged: My girlfriend.
5. Last thing you laughed at: Some of the questions later on (I left this question until last, because I couldn't remember anything).
6. Last time you said I don’t remember: Question 1. If you mean strictly said, I don't remember.
7. Last time you cried: Don't know. I'm probably not meant to admit being capable of crying. Probably wasn't all that long ago though; I sympathise with the people in films and aother drama more than I should.
8. What colour socks are you wearing: Black.
9. What’s under your bed: The floor. Not much space for anything else under a closed divan box thing.
10. What time did you wake up today: 7am & change. Then again every 8 minutes or so until I actually got out of bed. I'm glad I don't have an early morning job, or a long commute.
11. Current taste: In what?
12. Current hair: It's the same as it has been for some time; long and a little unruly with split ends.
13. Current annoyance: I have so many...
14. Current longing: The end of the day. Or the week. Or a decent length holiday.
15. Current desktop background: The one at work is plain black, because I don't often have any of the wallpaper showing and I used to have a thing about not having wallpaper. The one at home is the Windows XP default, because eventually I realised that changing the wallpaper to plain black because you weren't going to see it was a waste of time.
16. Current worry: My job has no progression prospects (company is too small) and I'm getting stuck in a rut.
17. Current hate: I have so many. Mainly I hate people demanding help when they haven't tried to help themselves, and other brands of avoidable stupidity.
18. Current favourite article of clothing: I have a dark blue suit I quite like, although that's mainly because I don't have to wear it all that often.
19. Favourite physical feature of the preferred sex: Smile. Arguably not a physical feature, I know, but it must be nice, and it must be visible often ;)
20. Last CD that you listened to: I forget what it's called, but I have a fairly old Best of Eric Clapton, mainly in the Cream and Dominoes years. It's great.
21. Favourite place to be: Or wherever the girlfriend is. Failing that (because the girlfriend is usually inconveniently far away) in front of my computer.
22. Least favourite place: The workplaces of doctors and dentists and so on.
23. Time you wake up in the morning: As late as I can get away with, normally some time after 8am.
24. If you could play an instrument, what would you play: I'd love to take up the drums or the piano, or be better at guitar. If I were going to learn properly, a real instrument with lessons and people to play with, I'd love to play the cello.
25. Favourite colour: Blue.
26. Do you believe in an afterlife: No.
27. How tall are you: Haven't measured for ages, but based on how tall everyone else thinks they are I'm probably 6'3" or 6'4", although that may not be the case because a lot of people seem to think they're taller than they actually are. Inches may be getting smaller (stop sniggering at the back).
28. Current favourite word/saying: Indefatigable. It came up lately and of the group of people I was with I seem to be the only one who can pronounce it.
29. Favourite book: Niccolò Machiavelli - The Prince.
30. Favourite season: Winter.
31. One person from your past you wish you could go back to see: It would be good to have a chat with my granddad (Mum's dad); I seem to have learnt more about him since he died than I knew while he was alive.
32. Where do you want to go for university?: Already been, and King's College London was a good choice.
33. What is your career going to be like: Not like it is now, please...
34. How many kids do you want: Maybe 1-3 (inclusive). 0 would be reasonable if it came to it.

Have you ever...
35. Said “I love you” and meant it (with the opposite sex) Yes.
36. Gotten in a fight with your dog/cat/bird/fish: No.
37. Been to New York: No.
38. Been to Florida: No.
39. Been to the Bahamas: No.
40. Been to Mexico: No.
41. Been to China: No.
42. Been to Canada: No.
43. Dreamed something really crazy and then it happened the next day: No. I can very rarely remember my dreams, so maybe they are precognitive. Only without the cognition.

Random
45. Do you have a crush on someone: I love my girlfriend, if that counts.
46. What book are you reading now?: The collected Conan, by RE Howard.
47. Worst feeling in the world: I don't know. There are plenty of bad feelings in the world (and it might be wise to admit that I haven't felt most of them).
48. What is the first thing you think when you wake in the morning?: I don't think for some time after waking. When I do, it's normally about whether I am late for work.
49. How many rings before you answer: Quoting Annie: 'I never answer. Voicemail is a fine invention.' My answer is that I never answer. Maybe I should get voicemail.
50. Future daughter’s name: Something fairly long and elegant sounding. Under no circumstances does the child get a diminutive or abbreviation as a given name: if she wants to shorten it she will do.
51. Future son’s name: Something traditional, preferably not the flavour-of-the-month although not something that they'd get too much stick for at school. Note above about shortening applies. Annie, as much as I love some of the biblical names, I couldn't bring myself to do that to the child (maybe as a middle name ;-) ).
52. Do you sleep with a stuffed animal: No.
53. If you could have any job you wanted: I'm going to be a novellist.
54. Where do you wish you were: At home.
55. Piercings: None.

The extra stuff
57. Do you do drugs: No.
58. Do you drink: Lightly.
59. What kind of Shampoo and Conditioner do you use: Head & Shoulders.
60. What are you most scared of: Not entirely sure. I think my only remaining irrational fear is spiders (and to a lesser extent some insects). Beyond that it's a case of what things warrant fearing at any given time.
61. What clothes do you sleep in: Whatever's to hand.
62. Who is the last person that you called: Probably my girlfriend. I mainly send people texts or e-mails.
63. Where do you want to get married: Somewhere memorable, although the main concern may actually be about how far people have to travel. Probably not in a church: I'm not going to pretend to be another religion just to take some vows. (What am I saying, 'just' to take vows... I'm not going to take the vows of someone else's religion.)
64. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be: I'd like more self-discipline. I'd like to be a little thinner, but the reason I'm this shape is because I lack self-discipline.
65. Who do you really hate: I can't think of anyone I really hate.
66. Been in love: Yes.
67. Are you timely or always late: I'm not always late, but I'm not always on time.
68. Do you have a job: Yes.
69. Do you like being around people: Some people. But solitude is good too.
70. Best feeling in the world: Which one are you expecting me to say? Love over sex, if that's the question, although sex with the one you love is the ideal...
71. Are you for world peace: I'm not doing a great deal to bring it about, if that's what you mean. Although I'm not in favour of wholesale death and destruction.
72. Are you a health freak: No.
73. Do you have a “Type” of person you always go after: No. I sometimes consider myself to have a 'type', but in fact it evolves significantly with each girlfriend (that probably makes it sound like there have been more than is the case...).
74. Do you want someone you don’t have?: No.
75. Are you lonely right now: No.
76. Ever afraid you’ll never get married: No. Bound to manage it sooner or later...

In the last 48 hours, have you:
78. Cried: No.
79. Bought Something: Only food.
80. Gotten Sick: No. I have a pointless lingering cold from before then, but it's not really making any difference.
81. Sang: Yes.
82. Said I Love You: No.
83. Wanted to tell someone you loved them: I wanted to, but the message was meant to be succinct, for effect.
84. Met Someone: Huh? All the normal crew are in at work, the normal crowd was in the pub on Tuesday... I haven't met someone though.
85. Moved On: Enough with the pop relationship buzzwords already. I have moved around, I have seen passage of time and even aged a little.
86. Talked to Someone: Is that 'talked to someone' or 'talked to someone'? I talk almost whenever I think someone will listen (although I do stop to listen myself. Sometimes).
87. Had A Serious Talk: Ah, talked to someone. No.
88. Missed Someone: Lots.
89. Hugged Someone: No.
90. Yelled at Someone: No.
91. Dreamed About Someone You Can’t Be With: As I said, I don't remember my dreams.

I wonder why there are so many numbers missing.
