Similarly, I am on a desperate quest for interesting things to happen to me, which I can then blog about in hilarious fashion. Trouble is, it's been a particularly quiet month, even though there's lots going on.

I consider myself a fairly smart person with a real-world job (what exactly is a 'real-world' job?!) and that job carries the title of 'technical manager', but my technical and your technical are technically different. Which is why I don't always understand what you're talking about either. :-)

Annie - the strapline actually means very little.

But if it read "Nemo saltat sobrius nisi insanus est" it would mean "No-one dances sober unless he's insane". It's an adapted quote from Cicero. The actual quote is "Nemo saltat sobrius nisi forte insanit" - no-one dances sober unless he's completely insane.

I'm not very technical either but I do have the benefits of a classical education.

Annie - the subtitles are Latin (in theory), and as Tom just discovered they're randomly spouted from a list, so we don't know which it was you were wondering about.

Matt - I know nothing about the sort of 'technical' that goes on in your theatre, I suspect. Although I bet you could explain it in a way I could understand; that's the goal around here, at least...

Tom - Thanks for that, I'm trying to keep them somewhat accurate (with one notable exception) and somehow I missed two glaring typos in that one. I unfortunately don't have a classical education, since they had gone into hiding and become very expensive to find by the time I was educated.

Well, I was actually quoting Hans Gruber in Die Hard. That's as classical as my education gets.
