Those of you who are professional IT types (especially those with any hiring resposibilities, or perhaps lots of experience of getting hired), I have a question.

I'm looking for one or more IT development certifications to get. Ideally nothing too vendor-specific, although I think recognition and value might take precedence and that I'll probably end up going for MCTS then MCPD.

Any suggestions?
