And I know that only because I just opened the damn thing especially to check.
It's kind of finished, although I'm not happy with it. Suppose I should find some people to play it to.

I have this problem with technical support. People tell me things are wrong, and after I do what I can to prove that it's not in my remit (apparently everything is, which is an interesting devolution of my job description, but still...) I take a look at it.
The problem is that generally, once I get there it will work.
Some of you may not see how this is a bad thing. I expect most of you will...

By the end of the year, the Stalker intends to see every film on the IMDb's Top 100 list (the link is to the top 250, but I'm sure you can work out which of those are also in the Top 100).
I would love to join in, but despite owning a number of DVDs (the number being more than pi and less than a googol) I haven't actually seen all that many films. Not ones that people consider classic, at least. So I will do as others have, and embolden the ones I have seen, and resign to not having seen the others.
For the time being.

So, after reading an article about how Nine Inch Nails had released the 'source' (loops and samples, that sort of thing: I don't know what I'm meant to call it) of their previous single in GarageBand format, and hearing one of the results in the destruct\hour, I went and found that the innards of the new single are available [registration required] not only for crazy Mac types, but for crazy Windows types too.
So I downloaded a demo of Sony ACID Pro, got the music, and started messing around with it.
That was two or three days ago, and each time I load the software it tells me in a smug way how long I have gone without actually producing anything.
I'll get back to you when there's something worth telling you about.

My best wishes and respect to everyone who continues to get on with things in the capital.
I don't really know what to say. I'd love to offer useful messages of solidarity, encouragement to get on with your lives, and advice against 'letting them win', but as a person who isn't in any real danger (and by that I mean even compared to the low degree of 'real danger' that you people are in, since I'm in no 'real danger') I find it hard to say any of those things without feeling two-faced, or like I'm going to offend.
See, even that last sentence stands to be taken the wrong way if the reader is wont to.
So as it stands, my thoughts are with the people of London, not because I was concerned the ones I knew might not have survived, as it was a fortnight ago, but because you are the ones who are going to worry about whether it will happen again, and because you are the ones who will carry on in spite of that.
Because that's what must be done.

So, here it is, in the right place and just about working. I'm sure there's some stuff that isn't, but I'm not going to go looking for it right now.
Expect content to start appearing soon. Perhaps not tonight though, because my head hurts.
